Practice Expectations

Students are responsible for practicing their full assignment.  Daily practice is vital to musical progress. The recommended amount of practice time will be discussed with the student depending on their age and skill level. Students must also remember to bring the following materials to lessons:

• Practice Journal
  
• All books currently in use (even if no piece is assigned that particular week)
  

Parents are encouraged to call if there are any concerns or questions. It is a goal of Sharps & Flats to give your child a positive learning experience in a supportive and musical environment.

• No gum or candy during lesson
