Sharps and Flats is a locally owned and operated Music Conservatory in Ridgefield, CT founded in 2007 by Mrs. Joanne Galli. Mrs. Galli built a music conservatory that focuses on providing the very best musical education for the students in this community. The Sharps and Flats family has continued to grow based on this founding principle. After many years of leadership and hard work, Mrs. Galli retired from ownership and sold the business to a long time colleague and teacher, Ms. Alexa Donaldson. Ms. Donaldson and the staff of exceptional teachers (including Mrs. Galli) continually strive to provide a well rounded and diverse musical education to each of our students.

Sharps and Flats creates a space for collaborative study and exceptional teaching. We have seven bright and open classrooms where students have room to move and explore their musical interests. Piano lessons are taught on one of our three baby grand pianos and we offer high quality band and orchestra instruments for rental. We also provide a comfortable waiting room for our families to enjoy while their students take their lessons.
